Cleveland, Ohio composer, Jeremy Piper, has been writing music since 1995. He has composed over 60 works spanning many diverse mediums including: Choral, Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Jazz Ensemble, Chamber Music and Jazz Combo. His compositions have been Premiered by: Cleveland Chamber Symphony, Cleveland Contemporary Youth Orchestra, Baldwin-Wallace Wind Ensemble, Kent Chorale, D-Y Regional High School Wind Ensemble, Cleveland Chamber Collective, North Eaton Christian Church Choir, Brunswick High School Mixed Symphonic Choir, Baldwin-Wallace Jazz Ensemble, Brunswick United Methodist Church Choir, Christian Community School Band, Kent State Jazz Ensemble, Jeremy Piper Jazz Combo, and the Brunswick United Methodist Church Praise Band. Jeremy earned his Bachelor’s Degree from the Baldwin-Wallace Conservatory of Music in Berea, Ohio. He majored in Music Composition, Music Theory, and an emphasis in Jazz Studies. Jeremy was the first student at Baldwin-Wallace to compose his own piano concerto and compete with it in the annual concerto competition. Jeremy received his Master’s Degree in Music Composition from Kent State University in May of 2006. Along with his worship leader position at the United Methodist Church of Berea, Jeremy performs regularly in and around the Cleveland, Ohio area as a freelance solo jazz pianist and with his own "Jeremy Piper Jazz Combo". He currently lives in Brunswick, Ohio with his wife Kristy and his son, Jaden.
